At the Great Housekeeping Institute, we test tech products from water resistant speakers to gas leakage detectors. To evaluate solar charges, we take them to our standard light space and time for how long it requires to totally charge each system. Then, we see how long it takes to charge various devices over 400 hours of battery draining over our newest testing.
